A sweet adventure: Maaike & Pijke’s Lovechock factory visit 🍫
When two of our colleagues, Maaike and Pijke, packed their bags, they weren’t just going on a trip. They were heading straight into the beating heart of Lovechock – our very own 100% vegan chocolate factory. And oh, what a day it turned out to be!
From the moment they stepped inside, the air was filled with the smell of cacao and the unmistakable positive energy of people working together towards one beautiful mission: making the most delicious chocolate possible from the finest Direct Trade cacao.

Forget boring classrooms. Maaike and Pijke got the ultimate crash course in chocolate-making – from bean to bar. They didn’t just watch; they got hands-on and crafted their very own chocolate creations (spoiler: no, we won’t share the recipe – that’s classified).
Along the way, they met the entire factory team – a crew of hardworking chocolate creators in their hairnets, each with a sparkle in their eyes and the same goal in their hearts: turning the best cacao beans into pure moments of bliss.

One of the highlights of their visit was meeting Ela, who works in production and gave them a closer look behind the scenes. Her passion and deep knowledge made it easy for Maaike and Pijke to see just how much love and craftsmanship flows into each stage of the chocolate-making process, and how every single detail truly matters.
Meet Marko – Our chief of chocolate magic 💫
Every great story has a hero, and ours is called Marko. As the factory leader, he somehow balances passion, humor, and top nodge problem-solving skills. Need a tricky production issue fixed? Marko’s on it. Want a good laugh in the middle of a busy shift? He’s got you covered. It’s no wonder the team loves and respects him – he makes the impossible feel easy (and fun).
